RUN 7.2 - Drills Week 2
Run
•
14m
This week's drills are focused on the connection between the hand and foot which involves the core and body balance. The aim is to create balanced, smooth running with the simple, yet sometimes difficult goal of ensuring that the hand passes the opposite hip as the foot strikes under the body. This balances the upper body rotation with lower body rotation using the forward drive from the hand and is what allows the smooth efficient style to develop.
BEFORE STARTING: You should complete the week 1 drills for 2-3 weeks before starting these drills.
EQUIPMENT: None
DURATION: 15 mins
SCHEDULE: Once per week
TIPS: Complete a dynamic warm up before starting these drills
