TriFit the online training system
Triathletes are unique individuals willing to push their bodies and minds to the max in not one but three very challenging sporting disciplines. Triathlon is an endurance sport and is based on consistency of training, discipline and the desire and motivation to succeed. Technique is all important as little imperfections in movement, strength or balance can lead to injury. Screening for faults in your fundamental movement patterns and learning how to address any muscle imbalances will lead you to increased efficiency, improved performance and fewer injuries.
TriFit is an online training system developed by one of Europe’s leading sports physiotherapists, Neil Maclean-Martin and internationally recognised Triathlon coach Fiona Ford. TriFit uses high quality videos with Neil and Fiona demonstrating and guiding you through discipline specific exercise sessions covering screening, prehabilitation, core work, drills and stretching. Each of these sessions is suitable for all levels of athlete and are designed so that you can incorporate them into your own training programme.
TriFit is partnered with Triathlon Europe who are a leading provider of innovative athlete-centric training plans, SwimSmooth video analysis workshops and altitude triathlon training weeks in Chamonix. Triathlon Europe's founder and head coach Fiona Ford is a qualified British Triathlon Level 3 coach, a certified Swim Smooth coach, 2 x European and World Champion amateur triathlete at ITU distance and raced Pro at Ironman distance consistently finishing in the top ten.
